AV distributor Karma-AV has announced UK availability of the MoFi Electronics SourcePoint V10 Master Edition, a new flagship three-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed by renowned engineer Andrew Jones.
Building on the standmount SourcePoint 10, the V10 ME introduces a full-height tower configuration with a five-element driver system. It retains the existing 10-inch concentric driver for mid and high frequencies but adds two 10-inch woofers and a pair of rear-firing 10-inch passive radiators. The result is a three-way system engineered to separate frequency duties cleanly across the spectrum, enhancing bass extension and overall resolution.
The loudspeaker has a stated frequency response of 27 Hz to 30 kHz, nominal 6-ohm impedance and a sensitivity of 91dB, positioning it as a high-performance option suitable for larger listening spaces and premium home cinema or two-channel setups.
A key addition in the Master Edition variant is a tuneable crossover network, accessed via a rear-mounted three-position HF level switch. This allows calibrators and installers to tailor treble output to suit room acoustics or personal preference, ensuring flexibility across a range of environments.
The cabinet construction follows the SourcePoint platform’s established design approach, using a 1-inch-thick enclosure and a multi-faceted baffle. The angled planes around each driver are designed to reduce edge diffraction and improve image stability. Internally, isolated chambers for the woofers and passive radiators work to mitigate cabinet resonance and maintain tight bass performance.
Real wood veneer options cover Walnut or Black Ash, paired with magnetic black or grey grille choice. Each cabinet is book-matched and finished in a satin clear coat to ensure durability and a consistent visual presentation in high-end interiors.
The MoFi Electronics SourcePoint V10 Master Edition is priced at £8,800 per pair including grilles, with additional grille sets in black or grey available at £270 per pair.
