UK TV brand Mitchell & Brown has unveiled a range of Smart TVs with built-in Freesat and terrestrial Freeview Play tuners, along with the WebOS operating system - and prices are competitive.

The webOS platform comes with a huge range of built-in free-to-air and streaming service apps. The webOS smart platform is commonly associated with LG, so it’s appearance here will provide consumers with a familiar user interface.

The Mitchell & Brown CU series launches in eight screen sizes, from a compact bedroom-ready 32-inch model, which retails for £189, to a competitively priced 85-inch model, selling for £1,009.

All but the smallest screen are 4k HDR models.

The option of satellite reception via Freesat offers installers with more options than commonly found at this price point. The satellite dish delivered service also opens the doors to niche channels and world services not covered by terrestrial Freeview. Wi-Fi is standard. The entire CU range also offers a minimum of three HDMI connections, two USB ports and audio outputs for soundbars.

“We are extremely excited to unveil the complete CU range of smart TVs,” says Dan Brown, Operations Director at Mitchell & Brown. “The range brings all the benefits of built-in Freesat without the complexity of an additional satellite decoder, a full package of smart TV services and the sophisticated WebOS front-end interface to the Mitchell & Brown portfolio. Add to this an unbeatable range of screen size options for every room in the home, and this British-brand range of TVs is ready to take on industry leading TV Brands.”
