Match Distribution has been appointed exclusive distributor for Waterfall Audio across the UK and Ireland, extending the French brand’s presence in the custom installation channel.

The agreement will see Match introduce and support Waterfall Audio’s loudspeaker portfolio across both territories, targeting integrators and installers working across high-end residential and luxury audio projects.

Founded in 1996, Waterfall Audio has carved out a distinctive position within the upper echelons of the loudspeaker market, through its use of tempered glass cabinetry and minimalist industrial design. No one quite makes speakers like Waterfall.

The company has an uncanny knack of blending conventional acoustic engineering with precision glass manufacturing techniques, producing speakers that blend aesthetic and audiophile sensibilities.

Rather than concealing AV technology entirely, Waterfall’s systems are designed to complement interior spaces, making them particularly relevant to residential projects where design carries as much importance as specification.

The brand’s manufacturing process involves glass cutting tolerances close to 100 microns, allowing it to create cabinets that differ markedly from traditional wooden enclosures. Beyond aesthetics, Waterfall says the use of glass contributes to cabinet rigidity and acoustic clarity, helping reduce unwanted resonance while preserving detail and transparency.

Over the past two decades, the French auteur has expanded into more than 50 international markets, gaining recognition for both industrial design and sonic performance. Its product range spans stereo loudspeakers, home cinema systems and architectural audio solutions, all developed around a philosophy that prioritises integration, elegance and performance.

For Match Distribution, the partnership adds another premium brand to a catalogue aimed squarely at professional installallers. The distributor will provide local stockholding, technical guidance, training and same-day dispatch through authorised partners. Mark Taylor, Director at Match Distribution, said the partnership reflected the company’s focus on brands that combine engineering quality with strong visual design.

“Partnering with Waterfall Audio aligns perfectly with our vision to represent brands that combine technical excellence with exceptional design,” he said. “Their products stand out not only for their audio performance but for the way they elevate interior spaces. We are excited to bring this unique offering to our customers.”

Cedric Aubriot, CEO and founder of Waterfall Audio, said Match Distribution’s experience within the premium AV market made it an ideal fit for the brand’s expansion plans.

“We are delighted to partner with Match Distribution for the UK and Ireland,” he said. “Their deep understanding of the premium audio market, combined with a strong focus on customer experience, makes them the ideal partner to represent our brand. Together, we look forward to bringing our heritage of innovation, distinctive design, and uncompromising performance to a wider audience.”

The partnership takes effect immediately, with Waterfall Audio products now available through Match Distribution across the UK and Ireland.
