High-end Japanese audio brand Luxman has announced a trio of new separates for the audiophile market.
Leading the way is the Luxman M-10X stereo power amplifier. Utilising LIFES, a new amplifier feedback engine which replaces Luxman ODNF circuitry, the M-10X can generate 2x 1200W (1Ω) and delivers pure Class A operation up to 12W. It’s rated at 150W per channel (into eight ohms), and retails for £16,000.
If that’s too rich, the brand is offering the £8,000 L-507Z, the first of Luxman’s new ‘Z’ generation of integrated stereo amplifiers. It also features Luxman’s LIFES amplifier feedback engine, and has a rated output of 110W per channel, into eight ohms. High-end build quality and signature VU meters come as standard.
Finally, Luxman is shipping a new turntable, the PD-151 MKII. Priced at £5,000, which includes tonearm and dust cover, it boasts a 4kg aluminium platter, newly designed brushless DC motor and new S-shaped tonearm with ‘knife edge’ bearing technology.
Distribution is via IAG.
