Lumene projection screens has added the Fresnel Ultra Slim Ultra Short Throw screen, to its Movie Palace range. Fresnel technology is designed to direct the projector’s light precisely while minimising stray reflections and light loss. The result is an exceptionally clear, bright and high-contrast image, even in environments with ambient light, when used with Ultra Short Throw projectors.
Boasting a 135° expansive viewing angle and 98 per cent colour fidelity, the Fresnel screen claims 95 per cent efficiency when it comes to ambient light absorption and diffusion.
The wide field of view allows multiple viewers to enjoy an immersive cinematic experience, regardless of their position in the room. The Movie Palace Ultra-Slim screen has an ultra-thin bezel, just 1.5 cm thick, which enhances the visual impact of images. It’s also designed for easy installation, using an easy clip fixing system. With an aspect ratio of 16:9, the screen measures 224 x 128 x 4cm (W/H/D).
The Movie Palace ALR Fresnel fabric screen is crafted with photolithography, embedding multiple layers of holographic microstructures which give control over light projection angles and directions. It’s claimed to be 100x brighter than a conventional screen.
The Movie Palace Fresnel Ultra-Slim UST screen is based on a revolutionary design comprising seven specialised optical layers, says the brand. Each layer plays a precise role, from managing light diffusion to reducing unwanted reflections, while optimising brightness and contrast. This multi-layer architecture effectively blocks ambient light, guaranteeing deep blacks , even in bright environments.
This feature ensures optimum image quality for viewers on the main axis, while maintaining excellent rendition for those on the sides. Ideal for large spaces and group viewing configurations, this screen combines flexibility and visual performance.
The Fresnel Ultra Slim Ultra Short Throw screen retails for £1,899. Distribution is via Avoke Ltd.
