German AV specialist Loewe has announced a range of new cosmetic options for its designer OLED proposition, the Iconic 4k screen.
The Iconic uses a unique mineral material, dubbed Syno-Stone, crafted from locally sourced recycled materials, as part of its unique design.
Now buyers have the option of two new stand colours, in addition to the existing graphite grey finish: a white and bronze. Additionally, there’s a choice of three new exclusive Syno-Stone finishes: midnight marble, diamond dust, and ivory sand (pictured above).
Loewe is also introducing a choice of three acoustic fabric colourways. Available in graphite grey, black and bronze, this fabric covers the seamlessly integrated soundbar.
The Iconic has a fully integrated 3.1 audio system (left, right and centre, plus two subwoofers). which supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X bitstreams. Impressive straight from the box, this can also be enhanced with wireless front and two rear speakers, as well as a subwoofer - specifically the Loewe klang mr1/3/5, and Loewe klang sub1.
Optional side inlays will be made available in a variety of colours, materials and finishes, all of which can be found in the sample folder the company is providing retail partners.
All of these additions reinforce the Iconic’s position as a uniquely customisable high-end display option. Loewe launched the Iconic last year, as a design classic for the future, and it seems well on course for that.
Manufactured at Loewe's headquarters in Kronach, the Iconic has support Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10 and comes with a built-in Loewe dr+ PVR with 1 terabyte hard drive. Integrators can also use the Iconic as part of a multiroom Play-Fi audio ecosystem.
The Loewe Iconic is available in 55- and 65-inch screen sizes, priced at £6,999 and £7,999 respectively.
The news follows the launch of a new £199 DAB+ portable, designed as a homage to the original Loewe local receiver 0E 333, the company’s pioneering radio.
