Premium technology brand, Loewe, has acquired luxury audio outfit, Cabasse, in a move set to combine German engineering expertise with French high-fidelity heritage.
The deal is positioned as a strategic partnership, with Cabasse continuing to operate independently, preserving its brand identity, engineering autonomy and innovation roadmap. The company will remain based in Brest, where it will continue its research, development and production activities.
Loewe says it will actively support Cabasse through targeted investments in talent, infrastructure and product development, while providing its international sales platform and marketing capabilities.
The move follows Loewe’s cexpansion into the US market alongside a strategic partnership with luxury German kitchen brand, SieMatic.
Founded in 1950 in Brittany, Cabasse is one of the most respected names in the field of acoustic engineering, and has an enviable proprietary technology portfolio, including advanced loudspeaker designs, digital signal processing solutions and patent base. Loewe will leverage these strengths to develop a new generation of high-end audiovisual products.
On the roadmap are integrated luxury home cinema ecosystems and multi-room solutions, along with next generation wireless and connected audio products.

"Joining Loewe marks a new chapter in our history. We will continue to innovate from Brest, true to our heritage, while benefiting from a powerful international platform to accelerate our development," adds Arnaud Hendoux, Deputy CEO of Cabasse.
