Lithe Audio has unveiled a new all-in-one wireless 4-inch Bluetooth ceiling speaker. IP44-rated, it’s designed to bring audio to smaller rooms and spaces, like ensuite bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and hallways.

Sleek and compact, it should blend seamlessly into any décor and has a 25W RMS Class D amplifier coupled to Bluetooth 5.0. Integrators should note that it can also be cable linked to a TV or other audio output, via a 3.5mm input.

The speakers work with Amazon Alexa or Google Home. Features include a 50 per cent Volume Cap, enabling you to manage audio levels, password protection and unique speaker naming via the Lithe Audio setup app.

Ease of installation and use were design priorities in the design of the new speaker, says the manufacturer. Cables can be pre-wired for easy install, and the speaker simply connects to the existing lighting circuit or any main power feed for power. The speaker comes with a fully enclosed back. Low latency Bluetooth V5.0 devices have a range of 30 metres.

“We’re excited to be launching this flexible new range of compact Bluetooth ceiling speakers,” says Amit Ravat, Co Founder of Lithe Audio: “We wanted to expand our ceiling speaker range to provide a solution for businesses and consumers seeking a good quality, affordable, wireless ceiling speaker system that brings the latest in connectivity tailored to the size of their space.

“From hoteliers and housing developers looking for a flexible in-room and en-suite audio solutions – either wireless or connected to TV and other audio systems - to consumers living in apartments or homes wanting sound-capped audio in their en-suite or kids’ rooms, we believe that this is an unrivalled ceiling speaker solution.”
