LG has announced the return of its Wallpaper Design TV, a concept first introduced in 2017. The all-new LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV now comes with True Wireless connectivity and its latest picture innovation, Hyper Radiant Color Technology.

Boasting a 9.9mm thin chassis, and revised wall mount, the screen can sit flush against a wall, from edge to edge.

All inputs are located on the Zero Connect Box, which can be positioned up to 10 meters away. The model is available in 77- and 83-inch screen sizes.

The new Wallpaper set uses a 4-stack WOLED panel. Hyper Radiant Color Technology is said to improve black, colour and brightness, while lowering reflections from ambient light sources. The screen has won industry-first Reflection Free Premium certification from Intertek.

The panel itself is powered by Brightness Booster Ultra, said to achieve luminance levels up to 3.9 times brighter than conventional OLEDs.

Driving the technology is a new Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, featuring a Neural Processing Unit (NPU), and new Dual AI Engine. The company says that unlike traditional processors that can sacrifice natural texture to reduce noise, the Dual AI Engine runs parallel algorithms to execute both tasks simultaneously, resulting in a balanced image that retains natural detail while eliminating over-sharpening.

Along with other 2026 OLED evo models, there’s support for 4K 165Hz refresh rate, with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility. LG quotes a 0.1 millisecond pixel response time.

The set will run the latest iteration of webOS, now with ultra-personalisation through Voice ID, and a bespoke ‘My Page’ home screen. Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot have also been integrated for improved interaction. There’s also an upgraded AI Concierge for content search.A new ‘In This Scene’ will offer cast details and related content. Personal data is protected by LG Shield advanced encryption.

Also new for 2026 is LG Gallery+ software, boasting a collection of over 4,500 visuals. These include cinematics, game graphics, personal photo collections and images created with Generative AI - all partnered with mood-matching background music.
