L-Acoustics Creations left ISE 2023 with a spring in its step, after securing an ISE Best of Show award for its Soka in-wall/on-wall architectural speaker system, and recording a 25 per cent visitor uplift across its booths and off-site demo room.
The ultra-shallow Soka system featured on the ISE stand, partnering a 85-inch TV. It was partnered with an SB6i subwoofer.
Live demos of its Tahiti 2.1 and Fiji 5.1 loudspeaker systems attracted crowds. The Tahiti 2.0 sound system featured Syva colinear loudspeakers mounted on the companion Syva Sub and driven by a LA4X 4x1000W amplified controller. The system has a preset for residential and marine applications.
The Fiji 5.1.2 sound system comprised three X4i wall-mounted point source loudspeakers spread across the front soundstage, two X4i mounted tabletop behind the viewer, and two additional ceiling-mounted X4i showcasing the new in-wall/in-ceiling variant of X4i.
Delivering bass was a wall-mounted SB10i compact 10-inch subwoofer. Amplification came from LA2Xi & LA4X amplified controllers. The booth also showcased the recently launched LA7.16i amplified controller, boasting a cool-running 16 channels of 1300W in just a 2U form factor.
L-Acoustics Creations point-source X4i speakers were shown in shades of pink, purple, green, and blue, but the speaker is available to order in any of the 216 RAL Classic colour finishes.
For integrators looking to increase incremental sales to residential clients, L-Acoustics Creations unveiled fully branded ‘retail’ packaging for its 2022 CEDIA Award-winning Fiji 2.1 package. The boxed solution contains two X4i loudspeakers, an SB10i subwoofer, and an LA2Xi single-U four-channel installation amplifier, along with cables and tabletop/wall-mounting hardware for the X4i.
Nick Fichte, Global Director of Sales at L-Acoustics Creations, said: “ISE 2023 was undoubtedly our most successful ISE exhibition to date, with our stand packed with trade customers from around the world throughout the four-day event. The Tahiti system really grabbed attention from our position in the centre of Hall 2, particularly when demonstrating its ability to deliver SPL over 115dB even in the open-hall environment.”
