Loudspeaker specialist Klipsch has launched the ProMedia Heritage 2.1 multimedia speaker system. Particularly suited for gaming applications and desktop use, the Bluetooth enabled system celebrates the design legacy of founder Paul W. Klipsch, but adds proprietary acoustic technology for a modern flourish.
Consisting of two compact bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer, it’s designed to be simple to set up and use.
Each speaker features a 76mm long-throw woofer and 25mm soft dome tweeters on Tractrix horns, a Klipsch proprietary technology. The subwoofer features an 8-inch driver with a rear-firing tube port, and 100W amplifier.
In addition to Bluetooth technology, the speakers features standard RCA phono and phono to 3.5mm options for plug-and-play use with a local source component. A wireless remote offers input, volume, subwoofer and sound mode control.
Available in two finishes, black ash or walnut, it sells for £359. For more visit Klipsch.com.
