Karma-AV signs Italian tube amp specialist Union Research

Karma-AV is to distribute Unison Research’s high-performance valve-based Hi-Fi separates in the UK and Ireland. The Italian manufacturer’s line-up includes Class A pre/power and phono amplification products, and the Unico line of the hybrid 2-channel systems, which retail between £1,000 and £34,000.

Unison Research was founded in 1987 by a group of passionate audiophiles led by Giovanni Maria Sacchetti. After completing his studies in electronics, Sacchetti devoted 25 years to teaching while at the same time designing and developing amplifiers for Unison Research, including the internationally successful SIMPLY TWO.

Designed and produced entirely in Italy, Unison Research is now recognised as the Italian leader in the production of tube amplifiers, and among the top ten in Europe.
