In response to the recent news of Zappiti ceasing its operations, Kaleidescape, provider of premium movie server systems for home theatres, in partnership with UK distributor Pulse Cinemas, has stepped forward with a transitional proposition that offers Movie Store Credits alongside Kaleidescape hardware to dealers who are considering transitioning to the platform.

These credits can be used for Disc-to-Digital conversions and the acquisition of new 4k content when transitioning to Kaleidescape hardware.

For dealers who purchase a Strato C and Terra Prime server, Kaleidescape is offering the following Movie Store credits:
Add a Strato C and Terra Prime 8TB: get £600 in movie credits
Add a Strato C and Terra Prime 22TB: get £1,000 in movie credits
Add a Strato C and Terra Prime 48TB: get £1,600 in movie credits
Add a Strato C and Terra Prime 88TB: get £2,400 in movie credits
Add a Strato C and Terra Prime 31TB Solid-State: get £2,400 in movie credits

The Disc-to-Digital service enables customers to convert their physical movie collection into digital versions at discounted rates, depending on the studio. Priced between £3-£9, the scheme is seen as an affordable way for consumers to digitise their movie libraries.

The Kaleidescape system offers access to UHD movies and lossless audio, via a distinct and easy to use UI.
