Harman Professional Solutions has launched the JBL IRX ONE, a Bluetooth enabled all-in-one column PA, designed for hospitality, education and live events.
With concert line array-inspired directivity control, the rugged enclosure weighs 15.5 kg and can be carried in one hand to where it’s needed. Users can set-up and tear down ‘in seconds’; column spacers and the array cabinet conveniently fit into the back of the base unit.
A 3-channel mixer supports popular connection types, including ¼-inch and XLR inputs with included 48V phantom power and ¼-inch balanced mix-out. It offers 5 EQ presets, as well as integrated iconic dbx automatic feedback suppression (AFS) and Soundcraft-powered audio ducking.
The speaker sports six 50mm high-frequency drivers, able to deliver a wide sweet spot. The 8-inch woofer employs a bass-reflex design, offering a low-frequency response down to 40 Hz.
Brandon Knudsen, Product Manager for Portable PA Solutions, HARMAN Professional, says the IRX One is defined by its plug and play simplicity. “We’ve heard from so many education, hospitality and music professionals looking for a pro-grade system that not only sounds great but is really easy for anyone to use. With IRX ONE, this system does just that. Just plug in your mic, instrument or Bluetooth-streamed audio source and let the music or the presentation do the talking right away without a complicated setup getting in your way.”
