Harman Luxury Audio Group has entered into a new distribution partnership with IMP, who will supply the JBL Architectural speaker range to the UK custom install market. IMP will also handle JBL's extreme climate speakers as well as JBL’s Conceal brand of invisible speakers.
The JBL Architectural line comprises an extensive range of in-ceiling and in-wall speakers suitable for a wide variety of cinema and multiroom audio applications.
These include the JBL B series of entry-level in-ceiling and in-wall speakers, with zero-bezel grilles; JBL Conceal series; JBL Stage series of Hi-Fi and home-theatre speakers; JBL Stage XD IP67-rated waterproof enclosures; BL Studio 2 series of architectural, zero-bezel models and the JBL Studio 6 in-ceiling and in-wall models.
"We are very excited to announce this partnership with IMP," said Scott Campbell, Director of Sales, HARMAN Luxury Audio. "JBL has a long heritage of delivering class-leading installation products, and I am positive our new partnership with IMP will allow the brand to grow across residential and marine CI channels in the UK."
Founded in 1984, IMP originally operated primarily in the marine market, but now also covers the residential space.
