Invision UK has begun distribution of Netgear AV solutions for custom install. The line features AV network switches and Wi-Fi access points.
Netgear AV network switches are backed by a lifetime warranty, and support from the Netgear ProAV engineering team. Developed specifically for the AV over IP sector, the switches can be integrated into projects with features such as IGMP Plus and auto configuration. They also offer reversible mounting, and software-controlled fan adjustments.
Similarly, Netgear Wi-Fi access points are managed by Netgear Insight, a cloud-based management platform that enables integrators to manage their customer’s Wi-Fi network remotely from a tablet, smart phone, or laptop.
Mark Taylor, commercial director at Invision, said: “We are thrilled to be distributing Netgear AV’s networking solutions. Netgear has more than 25 years’ experience in networking solutions for a variety of application. At Invision, we aim to add value to our customers’ businesses by any means possible and strive to provide them with innovative products from the best brands, having Netgear AV join our portfolio is the next step in achieving that.”
As a result of the levels of technical and business support provided, Netgear AV will be included in Invision’s Committed to Custom pledge.
The Committed to Custom initiative is intended to drive positive change within the custom install market, by improving training and education, offering class-leading products, and providing high-quality support for integrators.
Key areas of the pledge include a minimum three-year warranty as standard with the products only being sold to qualified custom installers providing assurance that integrators are competing with like-minded businesses.
Kieran Purdie, IT & Pro AV sales manager at Netgear UK&I, added: “We launched our ProAV line of products to help empower integrators and set them up for success so they can focus on providing the best service to their clients. Partnering with Invision is the next step in supporting them with a dedicated custom install distributor with 20 years’ experience.”
