Inside CI appoints Stuart Burgess as Commercial Director, enters new growth phase

Inside CI is entering an exciting new phase of growth with the appointment of Stuart Burgess as Commercial Director. Founder David Slater continues his association with the brand, while industry veteran Steve May leads content as Editor.

Established in 2012, Inside CI has become a trusted voice within the custom installation industry. The publication covers all aspects of the high-end residential market, alongside related developments in corporate AV.

With an editorial team bringing more than 30 years of combined industry experience, Inside CI delivers timely, relevant news and insight. Supported by a weekly newsletter reaching a global audience of professionals, its editorial output spans product news, reviews, event coverage, professional training, technology developments, and in-depth case studies.

Inside CI was founded by system integration specialist David Slater. Drawing on hands-on experience from his work at DSE Group, Slater created a publication grounded in real-world installation knowledge and practical insight.

Since its inception, Inside CI has grown into one of the most respected digital titles in the sector. Steve May, former editor-in-chief of Home Cinema Choice, leads the publication’s editorial direction as Editor, ensuring continued authority and quality across all content.

Burgess, an experienced integrator and founder of the Home Cinema Alliance, has been actively involved in promoting the custom installation sector since 2007.
