The CD revival continues to gain traction with the launch of a new high end model from Denon. The Denon DCD-3000NE CD player will spin SACD and CD discs, as well as offer support for DSD (2.8MHz/5.6MHz) files.
The player employs a powerful 384kHz/32-bit DAC and proprietary Ultra AL32 Processing for ‘unprecedented sonic detail, from the deepest, defined lows to the most shimmering highs.’
Denon's Ultra AL32 upsampling uses advanced interpolation algorithms to produce high-resolution output from a variety of sources. It’s compatible with nput signals up to 384kHz/24-bit.
The deck will also handle DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW discs with content up to 192kHz/24-bit, as well as CD-R/RW platters.

The DCD-3000NE CD player retails for £2,200.
