The latest soundbar from Harman Kardon, the Citation MultiBeam 1100, combines Dolby Atmos decoding with 11 channel MultiBeam technology for a deeply immersive home entertainment experience with movies, games and music.
Utilising 11 drivers, including two up-firing height channels, the bar is sold without accompanying subwoofer, although it can be upgraded with optional Citation components like the Sub or Sub S subwoofers and surround speakers, to create up to a 5.1.2 channel system (pictured above).
Whatever the configuration, it looks to be a strong contender for home media room use.
The MultiBeam 1100, which is available with a grey or black fabric grille from Kvadrat, boasts native streaming service support, with Apple AirPlay, Alexa Multi-Room Music (MRM) and Chromecast built-in. TV hook-up is via HDMI eARC. The bar also boasts Harman Kardon’s PureVoice technology, which promises clear dialogue at any volume, and automatic room calibration to simplify setup.
The Harman Kardon Citation MultiBeam 1100, on sale this month, sells for £799.99. For more visit harmankardon.co.uk.
