Acoustic treatment solutions specialist GIK Acoustics has announced the released the Sound Block StackPack, a modular room treatment solution designed for professional studios and high-end listening spaces. Bringing precision acoustic control into a compact footprint, the StackPack aims to simplify room treatment for serious Hi-Fi users and custom installers alike.
The concept is straightforward: three purpose-designed acoustic blocks - two for high-frequency diffusion, one for low-frequency absorption - are vertically arranged into a freestanding tower. It’s a system that promises aesthetic polish, tonal balance, and practical simplicity in equal measure.
At its core, the StackPack is engineered to solve a common dilemma in studio and listening room setups: how to introduce high-quality acoustic treatment without sacrificing space or design cohesion. Each stack consists of Two scattering Sound Blocks with decorative wooden accent plates, tuned for high-frequency diffusion, and One broadband absorber incorporating GIK’s proprietary FlexRange Technology, capable of absorbing frequencies as low as 50Hz.
All three modules are finished in Camira acoustically transparent fabric, available in a choice of three tones: Beech Noir, White Hot, and Dusky Fawn. The visual effect is architectural rather than utilitarian, something you can place prominently in a room without apology.
In terms of application, the StackPack is designed with flexibility in mind. Units can be deployed behind loudspeakers, at first reflection points, on the rear wall, or in corners where bass control is needed most. The modular design allows for repositioning and reconfiguration as a system evolves, without requiring custom fabrication or intrusive installation.
“The Sound Block StackPack is a super-efficient way to drop serious freestanding coverage into your room without overthinking it,” says GIK designer Paul Bishop. “With these three striking finishes, you've got a ready-to-go solution that looks sharp and performs even better, no need to configure a custom stack, and the discount makes it even easier to say yes.”
Beyond convenience, the StackPack’s real strength lies in its integrated design: combining broadband absorption, controlled diffusion, and deep bass treatment in a single vertical format, it promises full-spectrum acoustic improvement without demanding wall or ceiling real estate. This makes it particularly appealing for smaller control rooms or premium listening spaces where footprint and aesthetics are key.
The StackPack is also priced with value in mind. By bundling the three Sound Blocks into a pre-configured set, customers receive a 15 per cent discount compared to purchasing the units individually. It’s a modest but welcome incentive for projects that need scalable treatment across multiple locations.
To further assist in room optimization, GIK Acoustics continues to offer complimentary acoustic consultation services, providing tailored advice based on room dimensions, layout, and use case. Installers and Hi-Fi enthusiasts can submit plans via the company’s website for a no-cost analysis and treatment recommendation.
The Sound Block StackPack is available now directly from gikacoustics.com, with finishes and consultation options designed to support professional-grade results, whether you’re building a mastering suite or refining a two-channel listening room.
