GearFest UK returns with pro audio panels and products

Music studio equipment show GearFest UK, is returning to London’s Tileyard ​July 15 and 16. Held in collaboration with Sound On Sound the event offers an early hands on with new product releases, as well as demonstrations and panels from leading industry manufacturers.

Lined up for this year’s show are Ableton, Sontronics, Audient, Teenage Engineering, Neve, Genelec, Arturia, Eventide, Rupert Neve Designs, Bitwig, PMC, Kurzweil, Dynaudio, Origin Effects, Rode, Sonnox, Focal, RME, IsoAcoustics, Universal Audio, Moog, Vanguard Microphones, Spitfire Audio, Steinberg, Imperative Audio, ACS Custom, and Eventide.

The event is a unique opportunity to learn more about the pro audio technology, and gain industry insights from leading engineers, producers, and artists. Visitors will also have an opportunity to visit the new on-site Dolby Atmos studio, for an exclusive playback session to experience Atmos in a studio environment.

Tickets for the two-day event are priced at £10 for the Saturday and £8 for the Sunday; weekend tickets available for £12.

​12pm Stan Kybert: Everything you wanted to know about Dolby Atmos but were afraid to ask

​In this special double-length panel, renowned mix engineer Kevin Paul (David Bowie, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Moby, Goldfrapp) will be joined by Steve Dub (Chemical Brothers, New Order, Roots Manuva, Moby), Paul Tipler (Liines, BugEye, Barns Courtney, Oliver Shaw, The Clockworks, Sophie and The Giants) and Julian Kindred (Ellie Goulding, Nao, Hammock, Lumenette) to explore the art and craft of mixing.
