Distributor Exertis has announced an extended distribution partnership with Barco, focusing on its collaboration tool, ClickShare. The partnership hopes to grow the distribution of its ClickShare devices, which enable high-quality hybrid meetings and conferences at the click of a button.

The distributor expects growing interest in the technology, as companies shift to hybrid ways of working and collaboration; the Barco solution enables secure and seamless video conferencing, connecting local hubs with remote workers.

Jamie Brothwell, Director of Pro AV at Exertis UK, said: “We are delighted to expand our global partnership with Barco into the UK at what is an exciting time for Exertis Pro AV. Through the recent global pandemic, collaborative technology became the fourth emergency service and changed the workplace as we knew it forever. Hybrid working and collaborative workspaces have become an essential part of our daily life. We believe we are well placed to support the incremental growth of Barco’s award-winning ClickShare range to both new and existing customers given our expertise within the IT and Enterprise channels, our unique credit offering and our 24/7 services and solutions team.”

Anthony Wright, Director of Collaboration at Barco UK and Nordics, said: “With the ever-changing need to identify new routes to market for our ClickShare collaboration and conferencing products, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Exertis Pro AV to our distribution line up in UK&I. Exertis Pro AV will supply the full range of ClickShare solutions to a broader audience of integrators, enabling them to enjoy the best intuitive, wireless meeting experience possible.”

The deal moves ClickShare squarely into the Pro AV channel. “Secure, networked and cloud-managed, ClickShare is an IT-friendly solution which is tech-agnostic, cloud-managed and enterprise-ready,” adds Wright.
