Epson has introduced the EH-LS9000, a new 3LCD 4K home cinema projector designed for dedicated cinema rooms. The model is positioned to appeal to installers seeking a balance of image quality, affordability and installation flexibility.
The EH-LS9000 offers a native display resolution of 3840 x 2160 with over 8.3 million pixels on screen, derived from 4K Frame Interpolation. Features include Super Resolution, HDR10+ support, and Scene Adaptive Gamma Correction.
A dynamic contrast ratio of over 2,500,000:1 offers deep blacks and clearly defined shadow detail, supporting use in light-controlled environments where subtle gradations are critical, says the company. The laser light source is rated for up to 20,000 hours of use, effectively eliminating the need for lamp replacements.
Installation tools include powered lens shift, zoom, and memory settings, giving flexibility for different projection distances and screen sizes. The projector also features a fast start-up time of around 8 seconds.
“We understand that film enthusiasts often seek a high-quality viewing experience without the high-end price tag,” said Ben White from Epson Europe. “The EH-LS9000B/W is engineered to bring the cinematic experience home, providing exceptional performance and flexibility, all while maintaining affordability.”
The Epson EH-LS9000 retails for £2,999.99, and is available through selected UK retailers.
