French audio specialist Elipson Audio has announced a new real wood finish for its Chroma 400 turntable range. Designed to better blend with home decor, the new models are available with a matt finish of either Oak or Walnut.
The range encompasses the stand-alone turntable, the Chroma 400, as well as both the Chroma 400 RIAA with high-end integrated phono stage and flagship Chroma 400 RIAA BT, featuring the high-end integrated phono stage, wireless Bluetooth aptX HD capability and USB output.
All three of the wood finished turntables will feature, as standard, the high-quality carbon-fibre tonearm and Ortofon OM10 cartridge, as offered on the brand’s existing gloss finish models.
The turntables continue to be developed and manufactured in the Elipson facility, in Burgundy.
