Denon has unveiled a trio of AV amplifiers for smaller listening rooms and theatres. The new S-Series support 8K/60 and 4K/120 pass-through as well as HEOS integration for music streaming and multiroom audio.
The line comprises the 7.2-channel AVR-S770H and the 5.2-channel AVR-S670H and AVC-S670H.
The Denon AVR-S770H is a Dolby Atmos / DTS:X immersive audio model, while its stablemates are flatbed surround sound designs. While the AV receiver AVR-S670H features an analogue FM tuner, the AVC-S670H is a pure AV amplifier.
Power output across the group is rated at 145W per channel (into 6 ohms).
In addition to HEOS-powered Spotify, Amazon Music HD, and Tidal support, there’s Apple AirPlayonboard and Bluetooth with support for wireless headphones.
Installation is simplified by Denon’s HD Setup Assistant, and room EQ comes via Audyssey MultEQ room correction technology.
Out September, the AVR-S770H, AVR-S670H and AVC-S670H are priced at £699 (€779), £599 (€679) and £549 (€629) respectively.
