Denon debuts dazzling DNP-2000NE Network Audio Player

Denon has unveiled the DNP-2000NE Network Audio Player, a feature-rich, high-end digital streaming source component with HDMI ARC connectivity.

Central to operability is HEOS integration, which allows users to wirelessly stream music from online services such as Spotify, Tidal and Amazon Music. The HEOS app also enables users to easily manage networked local music libraries and create playlists.

The player features Denon's Advanced AL32 Processing Plus technology, which supports up-sampling to 384kHz and bit-extension to 32-bit, for the closest possible reconstruction of the original signal.

The player employs four high-precision 32-bit/384kHz ES9018K2M digital-to-analogue converters, configured in a double-differential-mode derived from the flagship DCD-A110. To ensure perfect synchronization, the Denon Master Clock design doesn’t allow any divergence of clock signal crucial for a high fidelity reproduction.

The DNP-2000NE’s analogue and digital circuit boards have also been are isolated from each other to protect the analogue circuit from interference and noise of the digital section.

Available in three different colour choices - Black, Premium Silver, and Graphite Silver - the component is styled to match the brand’s PMA-1700NE, PMA-2500NE and PMA-1600NE series amplifiers, as well as its PMA-A110 and DCD-A110 Anniversary models.



The DNP-2000NE offers a rich variety of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, HDMI ARC, two optical and one coaxial digital inputs, as well as a USB-B input for native music streaming directly from a computer.

Bluetooth transmission allows users to stream audio to a Bluetooth capable headphones. With HDMI ARC connectivity, the DNP-2000NE effectively becomes a core media room component.

The player supports CEC, so any connected compatible Denon amplifier or the variable output of the DNP-2000NE can be controlled by the TV remote handset.

Available from June, the Denon DNP-2000NE Network Audio Player retails for £1,399.00 (€1,599.00 ) in black or silver finishes. The graphite silver edition is priced at £1,599 (€ 1.799,00).
