DbM named Distributor of the Year at industry awards

DbM has been named Distributor of the Year at the recent Smart Building Awards. The industry accolade is given to a distributor that best delivers on three key areas: new additions, customer support and training.

Established in 2017, DbM (Distributed by Meridian) has carved a niche with premium AV solutions across a range of categories, including home cinema, multiroom and Hi-Fi.

Over the past 12 months, DbM has added two new brands to its portfolio: Ambisonic and Lumagen. These join Amina, Barco Residential, LG, Meridian Audio, nexgentec, SMS, Sonos, Trinnov and Waterfall Audio. The last two years have seen the distributor report a 15 per cent growth each year.

DbM also offers integrators design, specification and installation support. Its complimentary Design and Specification Service helps with project planning and presentation, while a fully equipped experience centre features AV solutions from all its brands. The DbM team also visit dealer installations to carry out full calibration of products from Barco, Lumagen, Meridian and Trinnov.

The group also offers training, to ensure its customers are able to deliver the best possible installation.
