DALI has expanded its range of Phantom M architectural loudspeakers, with the Phantom M-675. Typical applications include L/C/R home cinema duties and high-end two channel music rooms.
Joining the M-250 and the M-375 in the brand’s CI line-up, the M-675 features eight custom made drive units, with paper and wood fibre diaphragms, all developed in-house.
Equipped with two SMC based 7-inch bass and midrange drivers, and four 7-inch passive radiators, an extended low frequency response, higher SPL and high-power handling are a given, says the brand.
The M-675 bass and midrange drivers feature DALI’s patented SMC technology to minimise eddy currents, hysteresis, and distortion in the heart of the magnet system. The result, it says, is distortion-free audio in both multichannel and stereo listening.
The M-675 features a Hybrid Tweeter Module, consisting of a 28mm soft dome tweeter and a ribbon tweeter, for optimised horizontal dispersion.
The M-675 is installed using the ten integrated doglegs, and features a fully integrated backbox.
That Hybrid Tweeter Module can also be rotated, to optimise performance when used as a centre channel, mounted horizontally below or above the screen.
Integrators can adjust the tweeter level if placement is behind a projector screen, of for wide off-axis listening.
Using optional On Wall Frames the M-675 can also be mounted on a wall. The M-675 have a slimmer profile than Dali’s Phantom S series, making installation below or to the sides of a TV an aesthetic option. Magnetic grilles are included in the box, which are fully paintable to blend with any decor.
The DALI M-675 is priced at 2199 euro. The OW Frame retails for 399 euro.
