British Hi-Fi outfit Cyrus Audio has announced that its Pre-XR, i7-XR and i9-XR amplifier products are now Roon Tested products.
Roon, the music discovery and streaming platform, is finding tradition amongst music lovers who enjoy browsing and organising their digital music collection, both locally, and on streaming platforms such as Qobuz and Tidal.
All ‘Roon Tested’ products have been profiled by Roon’s QA team so that Roon can identify them and automatically configure their settings, optimising them for a variety of environments.
The Cyrus XR Series, which also includes the CDi-XR and CDt-XR, was launched in December 2020 and boasts high performance audiophile components.
As a Roon Tested partner, Cyrus has provided equipment to Roon for testing with a variety of different operating systems and computers, and shared information about its design and capabilities. Cyrus has a direct relationship with Roon and says in many cases the Roon support team has the company’s devices on hand, simplifying any queries.
