AV distributor CUK Group has signed a deal to distribute exclusively the TruAudio brand of architectural speakers and amplifiers, along with VSSL streaming amplifiers and wireless speakers, to residential and commercial integrators in the UK and Ireland.
US-based TruAudio offers a wide range of specialist loudspeakers for CI, including invisible, home theatre, in-ceiling, in-room, in-wall, surround speakers, as well as soundbars, subwoofers, outdoor and multizone amps.
Its architectural speakers are engineered using woven carbon fibre, titanium, aluminium and polypropylene, in a good/better/best hierarchy.
“This truly is a brand for installers, by installers,” says CUK MD Stuart Thomson. “TruAudio applies this philosophy across both product range and sales strategies, putting the integrator front and centre.”
A division of Utah-based Soundvision Technologies, VSSL’s scalable music streaming systems use the brand’s Native Streaming technology to deliver the simplest audio listening experience in the home.
Users are able to stream music from any mobile device and any music app or streaming platform to scalable systems of compact six, three and single zone ‘X’ range streaming amplifiers and ‘SX’ wireless speakers, soundbars and subwoofers.
Wireless support covers Airplay2, Spotify Connect, Chromecast built-in and Alexa Cast. Voice control is possible through Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.
