UK distributor CUK has expanded its Residential CI team with the appointment of Kyle Basley as CI Sales Manager for the South of England.
Working alongside Phillip Roe, CUK’s CI Channel Manager, Basley will focus on developing relationships with residential integrators and driving engagement across CUK’s growing portfolio of brands and technical services. The move supports the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its presence in the southern region.
Basley joins CUK from ADI/Snap One/Control4, where he spent over three years as Area Sales Manager for Southern England. His role there combined product knowledge with system design expertise, helping integrators deliver added value to end clients. Prior to this, he spent seven years in Product Management and Business Development at Habitech, working with audio, visual and home cinema brands, and also served as Project Manager for a commercial smart lighting company.
Well-known within the UK CI community, Basley brings extensive experience in technical sales and system integration.
Commenting on the appointment, Stuart Thomson, Managing Director of CUK, said: “Kyle’s successful track record in selling and supporting high-performance brands is the perfect fit for CUK’s mission to strengthen trade relationships through enhanced product awareness, knowledge and experiences. He was recommended to CUK by customers, and his affinity with our high product and service aspirations was apparent from the first conversation.”
Speaking about his new role, Basley added: “I’m excited to be joining CUK’s responsive and dynamic team. Their dedication to the highest levels of sales support and service, proven over many years in the pro-install market, lends huge potential to the role. I look forward to driving greater exposure for brands with such compelling technical attributes and performance benefits.”
The appointment underscores CUK’s ongoing investment in its Residential CI division, as it continues to expand its reach across the UK through specialist personnel, regional support, and enhanced training resources.
