Crestron Europe has partnered with Sony Professional Displays & Solutions to reinvent its own workspace. Previously based in the small town of Rijmenam, Crestron’s move to the bustling city of Mechelen, Belgium, may have offered a much larger office space, but it came with unique new challenges.

A larger workspace meant it would now be harder to be sure the displays across the office were all functional and displaying the correct content. To overcome this issue, the team at Crestron opted for BRAVIA Professional Displays, and their Cloud connection capability, which allowed for seamless integration into the Crestron control system.

Crestron’s previous office’s limited size meant there was less flexibility in day-to-day workflow and so they wanted to transition to a new space that suited a more advanced solution. With its move to Mechelen, Crestron opted for more training rooms and found this move provided a far better environment for learning, as it could ensure participants felt closer to those talking, providing a more conducive learning space.

Between them, these offices used FW-98BZ50L Sony BRAVIA displays. Despite being an improvement on the previous office spaces, it was now evidently harder to monitor, and quality check the displays within these training spaces.

“Sony cloud connectivity capability meant that we weren't just hanging displays on walls and hoping that they would work, but rather we could guarantee to our employees, and even potential customers that our displays are operational and displaying what is necessary,” Kenneth Noyens said, Facility Manager and Director of Training at Crestron.

As a renowned manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems, Crestron is no stranger to trustworthy and reliable Display solutions providers. By ultimately deciding on the BRAVIA FW-BZ40L model, Crestron didn’t just overcome its original concern of not being able to guarantee consistency across the various displays in the new office space, but it also elevated the overall experience of those who visited the new office.

Sony’s BRAVIA Deep Black Non-Glare technology for example, ensured the atmosphere within the training spaces was ideal, avoiding the harshness and distraction that can come with glare.

The cloud connectivity of the Sony BRAVIA, paired with its fast responsiveness also impressed. “Customers walk into these spaces with the knowledge that the same technology will be used in their spaces if they opt to work with us, and that is why it is important they have a seamless experience. From entering our new office to leaving, we want customers and employees to be certain that what we do, we do it well, and that is why we chose Sony,” says Kenneth Noyens, Facility Manager and Director of Training at Crestron.

“It is great to see that Crestron, a company that is no stranger to top of the line display solution providers, opted to use the BRAVIA FW-BZ40L model for their big move,” comments Adam Dover, Senior Corporate & Trade Marketing Manager, Sony Europe.

“Our confidence that Crestron picked the right partner for this move is strengthened by the fact that they have now opted to use BRAVIA screens in their UK-based office too.”
