Control4 explores future of voice in smart home webinar

Control4, the automation brand of Snap One, and Josh.ai are taking their recent strategic distribution partnership a step further by offering several new resources to help integrators share the Control4+Josh experience with clients.

The companies will explore the future of voice control, and reveal details on the consumer campaign, during a webinar hosted by CE Pro Chief Content Officer Jason Knott on February 16 (12:00 PM ET).

Watch it here. The video demonstrates how natural voice control, using contextually aware natural language processing, can enhance the Control4 Smart Home.

Through Josh.ai, Control4 clients can enjoy intuitive control of their connected devices in every room by giving natural voice commands, all without requiring a professional installer to pre-program macros. For example, a user can walk into his or her kitchen and say, “Ok Josh, turn on the lights, open the shades halfway, and play David Bowie.” Josh.ai listens to the request, understands that the command is coming from the kitchen, and automatically identifies which lights and shades to control as well as what content to search for on Tidal.
