Snap One has launched an entry-level Control4 bundle, comprising its new CORE lite Controller and Halo remote, for single-room installations and small budget projects. Features include high-res audio streaming, with up to 12 native services, remote access, notifications and alerts, Intercom Anywhere, cloud backups, and support for Siri, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Connectivity on the CORE lite Control4 system controller includes HDMI, USB, and Ethernet. It has an internal Zigbee antenna, with three IR Outs, one of which can be used as a serial port.

For Snap One Partners, CORE lite also provides access to the Control4 online driver database, with more than 20,000 unique drivers for device control and automation. OvrC Pro is built-into CORE lite, allowing remote access for network monitoring and management, device and system configuration. Integrators can also take advantage of a suite of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.

The Control4 Halo remote supports push-to-talk commands, and has a 2.8-inch screen. Alternatively, users can also utilise the popular Control4 App. Dual-band WiFi antennas support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. The controller isn’t being sold individually; it’s only available as part of the Single Room Bundle.

“The Single Room Bundle with CORE lite and Halo provides Snap One Partners with a simple, profitable solution that lowers the barrier of entry to the Control4 ecosystem and allows for expansion in any size of project,” said Eric Fritz, Director of Product Management. “Offering powerful features such as a high-resolution audio streaming, OnScreen menu, Intercom Anywhere, OvrC Pro, and more, the bundle delivers more out-of-the-box capabilities than any competing solution.”

Distribution is via Alltrade.
