Chord Company, the cable specialist, has upgraded its popular Shawline analogue interconnect with its recently introduced XLPE (Cross-linked Polythene) insulation.
The new ShawlineX ARAY is the latest in a line of cables from Chord Company to benefit from the performance-enhancing dielectric; Shawline’s upgrade follows the SignatureX and EpicX ARAY interconnects earlier in 2023.
Handmade-in-the-UK with premium silver-plated conductors, complex layers of shielding, and Chord Company’s proprietary ARAY geometry, the ShawlineX ARAY has been designed to enhance a wide range of systems.
The new interconnect also benefits from Chord Company’s ChorAlloy-plated VEE 3 RCA, DIN or XLR connectors, plus the latest factory technologies.
The Shawline range covers a range of solutions, boasting a dedicated tonearm cable, mini-jack options, HDMI AOC, power and speaker cables, and a variety of digital connections.
Pricing is from £210 (0.5 m), with custom lengths and terminations to order.
