CEDIA will offer a full-day, hands-on workshop dedicated to audio system measurement and verification at ISE 2026. Taking place on Monday February 2, the CEDIA RP-32 Workshop will offer integrators, designers, and engineers practical experience with the recommended procedures of the methodology.
CEDIA’s latest RP-32 Recommended Practice establishes clear, repeatable procedures for measuring and verifying audio system performance, providing professionals with a framework to verify that completed systems align with both design objectives and client expectations.
Led by industry experts, Peter Aylett, Ben Goff, and Adam Pelz, the session is designed for professionals working within residential settings and is also available to commercial professionals. Attendees will have the opportunity to work directly with measurement tools and software, learning how to gather reliable data, interpret results, and document system performance.
International CEDIA Instructors are recommended to attend, say the organisers, as it will enable them to take knowledge back to their regions and champion higher calibration standards globally.
“The RP-32 workshop is all about closing the circle - taking the promises we make to customers about system performance and using measurement and engineering to verify that we’ve delivered on them. It’s about being able to say, ‘This is what we promised, this is how we engineered it, and here’s the proof that it works as intended.’ That’s the level of professionalism and customer confidence our industry should strive for,” said Volunteer Chair of Education for CEDIA, Peter Aylett.
