Luxury TV display specialist C-Seed has announced a spectacular new model, the N1.

Like its predecessors, this Micro LED screen unfolds concertina-like from a compact housing. It takes only 60 seconds to rise to its full height of three metres, then five MicroLED panels unfold in 25 seconds to create a seamless monumental 165- or 137-inch display.

This new N1 is a lot easier and quicker to install than C-Seed’s previous outdoor TVs, because it doesn’t require a recessed hole in the ground. It’s designed to be continually exposed to the elements, a sculptural work of art.

Installers can take comfort from the fact that the N1 will cope with all year round weather conditions, regardless of rain, seawater, or snow. Reliable wind and temperature sensors prevent adverse outdoor conditions from damaging the TV.

The N1 is IP65 rated.

The panels then lock together to form a seamless TV screen. At 4,000 nits, it’s said to be bright enough to cope with any daylight environment, including direct sunshine. To optimise viewing, the screen rotates 180 degrees left or 90 degrees left and right, allowing it to be viewed between lounge area, swimming pool or jacuzzi.

C SEED uses patented Adaptive Gap Calibration to create a totally seamless foldable TV surfaces, free from any visible gaps. High-resolution sensors are used to detect potential offsets between the folding TV wings, able to measure fractions of millimetres, and them automatically calibrating the corresponding MicroLEDs specific brightness to render gaps invisible.

The mammoth display has two built-in 10 W speakers with a subwoofer integrated in the column; there are additional speakers in each wing, to create the widest possible soundstage. C-Seed says it can perform as a 5.1 and 9.2 surround sound installation.

The technical specs are impressive. The N1 features HDR10+ support, 16-bit colour, a refresh rate of 3,840 Hz, and 7,000:1 contrast.

The N1 is manufactured in Austria, and comes in a titanium matt metallic colour finish. Two screen sizes are available: 165-and 137-inches.

Prices start at US$233,000, with delivery schedule for Q1 2024.
