RGB Communications has been appointed distributor for the Hampshire-based power protection and services specialist British Power Conversion for the AV and Custom Install markets.
The British Power Conversion Company portfolio includes UPS, energy lighting systems, frequency and voltage converters and central battery systems.
BPC’s UPS Systems are typically used in commercial environments, such as offices and data centres, but they’re also well-suited to residential homes. The range currently covers more than 60 models. Of particular interest to smart home professionals will be the BPC PowerGem Plus RT (pictured above), a range of high-density UPS systems that can be installed in tower form or rackmount cabinet configurations.
The PowerGem can improve operational performance up to 97 per cent in ECO mode, 92 per cent in inverter mode and over 90 per cent in battery mode, says BPC. Integrators will be supported by a full range of services ranging, from site and power surveys, commissioning and maintenance visits.
BPC says it is also “actively developing PV Solar and associated products for wind and turbine generators” to address the growing renewable energy market.
