Blok has introduced Axis, a new precision‑engineered speaker‑stand range designed to maximise the performance of any standmount loudspeaker.
Built on Monitor Audio Group’s Transparent Design Philosophy, Axis has been engineered to deliver acoustic neutrality, stability and resonance control, while fitting naturally into modern interiors and premium audio systems.
Available in 500mm, 600mm and 700mm heights, all at a single price point, Axis offers flexibility when optimising loudspeaker placement across different rooms and system designs.
The engineering aspect centres on acoustic inertness. Every structural element has been developed to minimise vibration, says the company, providing a controlled platform that allows loudspeakers to perform with greater clarity and focus. Blok’s visual aesthetic keeps the stands suitable for both contemporary spaces and high‑end loudspeakers.
Build quality looks impressive. The metal top plate is precision‑machined to provide a stable, acoustically controlled surface, while integrated rubber isolation pads decouple the speaker from the stand, reducing vibration transfer and improving midrange definition.
The central column is a rigid extruded metal pole designed for strength and low resonance. It is fully mass‑fillable using Blok’s IsoFill acoustic damping material, which increases stability and tightens bass performance.
A wide chamfered plywood plinth forms the base, using layered construction to deliver rigidity and controlled resonance. Chrome‑plated steel spikes provide mechanical grounding and improved low‑frequency control, with optional stainless‑steel floor‑guard discs available for hard‑floor protection. The combination of metal and plywood is deliberate, chosen to balance strength, stability and long‑term durability.
Axis is offered in Satin Black with Black Ash plywood or Satin White with Natural Ash plywood, giving installers finishes that suit a broad range of loudspeaker designs and interior schemes.
Pricing is consistent across the range: Blok Axis 500 / 600 / 700 £325 pair ($430 / €400). Blok IsoFill (7kg tub) sells for £35, with Blok Floor Guard Discs (set of 8) priced at £25.
