Bang & Olufsen will preview a new landscape speaker at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Barcelona, marking the company’s first fully in-house outdoor audio solution and a significant expansion of its architectural audio ambitions.
The preview underlines a strategic move to address the growing demand for high-quality outdoor audio that integrates cleanly with wider residential AV systems.
The landscape debutant will operate as part of Bang & Olufsen’s unified multiroom platform, allowing audio to move seamlessly from indoor spaces into gardens and terraces. This approach supports the creation of whole-home experiences rather than isolated outdoor zones.
“For more than a century, Bang & Olufsen has crafted products that elevate the home, shaping how design, technology and craftsmanship come together to create unforgettable experiences,” said Nikolaj Wendelboe, Interim CEO of Bang & Olufsen. “Now, we extend that philosophy beyond the walls of the home as we preview our new vision for the future of architectural soundscapes in outdoor living.”
Rather than a traditional lifestyle launch, the company is positioning the new landscape speaker squarely for the custom installation channel, where outdoor entertainment zones are increasingly viewed as a natural extension of whole-home AV projects.
Wendelboe added that the preview is designed to show how the new speaker fits into the broader Bang & Olufsen ecosystem. “Our preview at ISE is an invitation for custom integrators and design professionals to experience how our landscape speaker connects seamlessly with our portfolio of speakers and TVs, and how it integrates into the wider home,” he said.
The first outdoor product to be conceived, designed and engineered entirely by the company, the new model is built from durable materials and designed to withstand year-round exposure, while maintaining the brand’s familiar sonic character.
Through Bang & Olufsen Atelier, which will also be showcased at ISE, the speaker can be specified in tailored finishes to better match architectural materials and planting schemes.
The brand expects the landscape speaker to launch commercially by the end of 2026.
