An ultra high‑performance home cinema is set to be one of the standout attractions at Audio Advice Live 2026.

The annual event, which returns to Raleigh, North Carolina in August, brings together manufacturers and integrators for three days of demonstrations and seminars. While few UK‑based installers are likely to make the trip, the equipment chosen for the Magnolia II demo room is well worth noting.

ASCENDO Immersive Audio, Trinnov Audio and Christie have combined their flagship technologies to create a system designed to show what can be achieved when advanced room acoustics and professional‑grade projection are treated as a single, integrated experience.

The demo builds on last year’s award‑winning bass showcase, with Trinnov and ASCENDO presenting the latest evolution of Cylindrical WaveForming. This approach aims to prevent standing waves rather than correct them, using a floor‑level front subwoofer array and rear subwoofers to deliver consistent bass and improved transient accuracy.

The Magnolia II room is a square 7.6 x 7.6m space, chosen deliberately to underline the system’s ability to maintain uniform low‑frequency performance even in challenging geometry. Trinnov’s AltitudeCI processor and Amplitude16 amplifier drive an ASCENDO immersive audio system built around six THE18 PASSIVE VENTED subwoofers and the THE32 infrasub, extending response well below WaveForming’s operating range.

Thirteen ASCENDO coaxial point‑source speakers complete the layout, providing time‑coherent playback across all seats.

Christie supplies the visual component with its Korus 4K1000‑KS laser projector, paired with a 135‑inch Stewart Wallscreen Deluxe. The projector uses 0.8‑inch HEP DMD technology to deliver more than 10,000 ISO lumens and 4K UHD+ resolution, with colour performance enhanced by accelerated colour cycling. Its compact chassis and lens options support discreet installation, making it suitable for premium residential cinema rooms where performance must be matched by unobtrusive integration.

A second 2.1 system will be shown in the venue’s main lobby, where ASCENDO’s BLACK SWAN loudspeakers in Carbon finish and THE28 SUB SQUARED will be partnered with a Trinnov AltitudeCI and Amplitude16.

Audio Advice Live 2026 runs from 7–9 August at the Sheraton Hotel in Raleigh, North California. You can register for the event here.
