Old school, high end home theatre audio is the promise of the new 1723 THX speaker series from Arendal Sound. Available in multiple configurations, to suit dedicated home cinemas and audiophile listening rooms, system builders can choose from towers, monitors, surrounds, heights and centre speaker models.

The 1723 THX series is available in two lines. For smaller home theatres, there’s the 1723 S THX series. The S line incorporates a height speaker for Dolby Atmos, as well as a bookshelf enclosure.

There’s also a partnering 1723 THX subwoofer range.

All Arendal 1723 loudspeakers are equipped with proprietary waveguide tweeters. Arendal Sound WaveGuide technology is said to improve sound dispersion and imaging, creating a more immersive listening experience.

For enhanced rigidity, the lineup boasts custom-designed HDF cabinets, which reduce resonance and allow for a cleaner, more articulate sound. Other characteristics are a smooth frequency response and wide dynamic range.

Available in matte black and matte white finishes, the minimalist styling reflects Arendal’s Scandinavian heritage.

Arendal 1723 Speaker Series are available through Arendal Sound’s official website. The 1723 Towers retail for £3,199 a pair; the 1723 THX Monitor sell for £2,199 a pair; the 1723 THX Center speaker is £1,099 While the 1723 THX Surround speaker sells for £1,549 a pair.

Arendal 1723 S THX Series Towers retail for £2,699 a pair; the 1723 S THX monitor sell for £1899 a pair; the 1723 S THX Center speaker is £949 While the 1723 S THX Surround speaker sells for £1,399 a pair. The 1723 S THX height speakers are £1,399 a pair. The 1723 S THX range includes a bookshelf model, priced at £1,399 a pair.

1793 THX subwoofers start at £1499.
