New CEDIA department will connect members to designers

CEDIA has appointed designer Andrea Harvey as Director of Design & Build Outreach. Harvey will head a new department within CEDIA, tasked with forging partnerships with interior designers, architects, and builders.

The Founder of Ash Interiors & Design, and based in Ellicott City, Maryland, Harvey brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of interior design, construction, manufacturer partnerships, and professional education.

Harvey’s appointment comes as CEDIA continues to expand its footprint within the design and build sector through a series of initiatives and partnerships.

CEDIA recently introduced regional editions of its design publication, Technology Meets Design – The Best of Professional Smart Home Style, and continues to strengthen relationships with key design and build associations, including BIID, ASID, NKBA, and RIBA.
