Distributor AWE is promising visitors to its upcoming Smart Home Expo an early look at the new Epson EH-TW7400 home cinema projector, and an insight into the EH-TW9400.
“Having seen the new models up-close, we’re confident that Epson has produced the best home cinema projectors below £3k, and I challenge installers to come and see the performance for themselves at the forthcoming AWE Expo,” says Stuart Tickle, Managing Director.
Dubbed PRO UHD models by Epson, the new 3LCD projectors offer a high dynamic contrast ratio up to 1,200,000:1 and 4K-enhancement technology with HDR support.
3LCD projectors offer a uniquely cinematic image, free from the rainbow effect seen on rival DLP models. White and Colour Light Output is up to 2,600 lumens. Frame interpolation and Detail Enhancement ensure motion pictures are sharp and smooth.
One key appeal of these new Epson’s is their ease of set-up. Motorised optics include a 2.1x optical zoom, powered focus and powered lens shift. Epson says users can watch a movie every day for the next seven years, without needing a lamp replacement. The EH-TW9400W also supports wireless viewing, using a 4K WiHD transmitter.
The AWE Smart Home Expo runs October 10-11.For more stories about AWE’s product portfolio and services, visit our resource page.
