UK audio specialist Meridian has signed a distribution partnership with Wavetrain, a home cinema design company based in Sydney, Australia. The company, which has taken a leading role in training and dealer support in the region and offers a Home Cinema design service, will offer Meridian’s full range of products and technologies,.
“One of Meridian’s key business objectives is to support dealers to specify the best possible audio solution for their clients,” explains Barry Sheldrick, Meridian Sales Director. “It’s fantastic to have a partner like Wavetrain for whom this is also a priority, in one of our most important markets. At such an exciting time in the audio industry, with the development in Hi Res Audio, best practice is more important than ever, and we look forward to working with Wavetrain to help dealers achieve the very best audio installations.”

David Moseley, Director at Wavetrain, says the partnership opens exciting opportunities for both companies. “We believe that the Wavetrain ethos of assisting dealers with engineering support makes us the perfect fit for Meridian,” he notes. “With world leading DSP technologies, Sooloos and MQA plus lots of exciting things to come, we believe Meridian should again come to dominate the Australian market.”
Wavetrain will showcase Meridian’s DSP8000SE loudspeakers at trade show Integrate, which runs August 22-24 at the Sydney Olympic Park.
