German high-end TV and audio brand Loewe has unveiled a new app to be used in conjunction with its broad portfolio of televisions. The app allows users to utilise handheld devices as a digital remote control, enabling greater functionality of its TV screens,
The app potentially provides installers with another reason to specify the Loewe range of TVs. As well as allowing users to view, stream and record their favourite programmes at the simple touch of a button, the integrated electronic programme guide (EPG) provides information on future broadcasts up to seven days before they air.
Utilising the TVs tuner, the app enables the homeowner to stream live television to a tablet or phone. Meanwhile, the TV’s DR+ recording feature ensures any content stored in its archive can be viewed on any medium, be it connected TV, tablet or phone, making sure no one will ever miss their favourite programme again.
The new app is available for Android and iOS and works with all televisions found in Loewe’s portfolio. The app follows the announcement of the new Loewe bild 9 OLED TV and klang 9 speakers.
Loewe is distributed by AWE, for more informaiton click here.
