RGB Communications has inked an exclusive distribution deal with INNO International, maker of high-end in-wall mounts for the iPad and iPod. Utilising gold leaf, precious stones, premium wood and carbon fibre, INNO has produced a range of unique solutions for the luxury end of the iPad and iPod system control market. Key features include an illuminating operating button, integrated power supply and installation boxes for flush-mounting and drywall-mounting with an integrated audio output.

RGB Chairman Gordon Innocent said the distributor was quick to react following an approach by the German start-up. "We saw a gap in both the high-end residential and commercial marketplace for INNO's in-wall systems, which have been conceived from an interior design perspective."  He added that reaction to the INNO line at ISE 2013 was extremely enthusiastic: "Visitors to the stand were very, very impressed with both the quality and design of the systems." The Magic series of mounts, which have a glittering Swarovski crystal border (pictured above), proved a particular hit. "When it comes to style and quality, nothing betters INNO," declared Innocent.

Michael Przyklenk, INNO managing director said RGB's expertise in the high end custom install coupled with its distributorship of Savant Systems' Apple-based control system, made them "the perfect fit" for INNO." For installations in public areas, INNO offers a secured version of its in-wall mount, which incorporates an unobtrusive and hidden locking mechanism operated by a security key.
