High-end TV maker Loewe partners with AWE for CI push

European designer screen brand Loewe is taking a closer interest in the custom install market, appointing AWE as a UK distributor in the process. Previously Loewe has gone direct, but now believes AWE's technical and logistical support will help it make greater inroads. "We're excited about this partnership" says Loewe UK sales manager Adam Jones. "AWE is the most experienced supplier into the sector; this partnership will allow us to support the CI channel with a much improved offering."

Stuart Tickle, managing director of AWE, says he's delighted to handle the brand.  "Loewe provides a quality array of great looking TV's for high-end homes. They're renowned for their smart, clean designs and excellent performance - I think they'll integrate beautifully into properties as part of a custom installation." 

Currently leading the charge from the Germanic tech auteur is the Connect ID range (pictured above). Available in 32-, 40-, 46- and 55-inch screen sizes and 12 different colour combinations, it's a uniquely accommodating flatscreen when it comes to interior décor.

Integrated Wi-Fi helps connect the set to Loewe's own MediaNet online TV portal, while a built-in 500GB digital TV recorder reduces box cutter and improves ease of use for owners. It's no slouch in the audio visual department either. This 200Hz LED backlit set boasts offers superior motion resolution and is 3D compatible. It also has a best in class 80w audio system. Icing on the cake comes in the shape of an advanced remote control app for iPad users.
