Certain to be one of the highlights of the Grand Designs Live show, which opens today at the Excel London for a 10-day run, is a showcase produced in association with CEDIA, featuring the latest home technologies.
The Automated Home exhibit includes contributions from CEDIA members Brilliant Living, Halstead Technology, Perfect Integration and RJR Custom Installations, and is intended to show how cutting-edge technology can transform the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Product support has been provided by Amina, Agath, Artcoustic, Control 4, Crestron, Future Automation, Habitech, Kaleidescape, Loewe, Lutron, Rako and Samsung.
The aim is to show visitors how they can save time and money with day-to-day chores and tasks, says CEDIA, as well as excite them about innovative products. Other noteworthy lifestyle technology at GDL include the world's first domestic solar PV greenhouse, incorporating transparent PV glass, made by Polysolar, and the Renault Twizy electric two-seater car.
CEDIA members can download two free tickets to the event by clicking here and entering the code CEDIATRADE. Grand Designs Live runs from today, May 3, through to May 13 and is held at Excel London.
