Denon has announced a trio of new X series AV receivers. The AVR-X3300W, AVR-X2300W and AVR-X1300W, are all Dolby Atmos enabled, and will offer DTS:X via a firmware update later in the year. All the models also have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as standard. High Res audio support covers FLAC, AIFF and DSD (up to 5.6MHz).
The entry-level AVR-X1300W (pictured below) is a 7.2 channel design, rated at 145w per channel. All six HDMI inputs are HDCP 2.2 compliant with support for 4K UHD, 4:4:4 colour sub-sampling pass-through and HDR (High Dynamic Range). The step-up AVR-X2300W boasts eight HDMI inputs and increases the power plant to 150w. It also sports ISFccc video calibration controls, a more extensive array of inputs and a second zone pre-out.
The range topping AVR-X3300W (pictured top) features 180w per channel, alongside an RS232 port for custom install control. All three models utilise the Denon Setup Assistant and Audyssey room control - MultEQ XT for the AVR-X1300W and AVR-X2300W, and MultEQ XT32 for the AVR-X3300W.
The AVR-X3300W will be available in August, while the AVR-X2300W and AVR-X1300W ship this month. Distribution is via AWE. For more stories about AWE's product portfolio and services, visit our partner page here.
